
Nathalie Emmanuel is an English actor, best known for her roles as Missandei on the HBO fantasy show Game of Thrones (2011) and Ramsey for her role in Furious 7 (2015). Nathalie was born in Southend-on-Sea located in Essex, England to parents who were of Saint Lucian, English and Dominican descendance. Nathalie is able to attribute her determination to perform as an actress at the beginning to her mother. When she was 10, she played Young Nala as part of The Lion King, a West End production of The Lion King. In 2006, she earned her first television appearance as Sasha Valentine in the teen soap-opera Hollyoaks (1995). Emmanuel appeared in the series through 2010, in which her plotlines focused on prostitution as well as heroin addiction. Nathalie was the host of BBC Three's Web-sex Where's the Risk?, investigating the online sexual behavior of the 16-24-year-olds people in the UK. Later in the same year she made her debut in film in the suspense film Twenty8. Her next role was in the fantasy show Game of Thrones (2011, HBO) in the role of Missandei Targaryen who is Daenerys' translator. Emmanuel was added to the regular cast in 2015. In addition, she was Harriet an alien-like character from Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. FHM magazine ranked Emmanuel at the 99th spot on its 100 Sexiest Females in 2013. Then, in April of this year, Emmanuel appeared in InStyle magazine as well as GQ.
