Bashar Jackson, who was also popularly known as his stage name Pop Smoke (July 20th 1999-February 19th, 2020), was an American musician and rapper. He was signed to Victor Victor Worldwide and Republic Records. Pop Smoke who was a part of the team with UK Drill Producers 808Melo Axl Beats Yoz Beatz Pop Smoke, rose to notoriety for his role as the leader of Brooklyn drill. Welcome to the Party is the main track from the debut mixtape Meet the Woo that was released on July 19, 2019. The track Welcome to the Party was made into two remixes featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj and British rapper Skepta in the month of August, 2019. The debut mixtape of Pop Smoke Meet the Woo was released by Pop Smoke in April 2019. The single Welcome to the Party is the album's main track. The song was later remixed two times one featuring Nicki Minaj and the other featuring Skepta in August of 2019. The song was noted by its use in UK drill production later commonly seen in his discography. It is because of his numerous collaborations as well as 808Melo (a British drill production company). Mpr Flexin, Dior and others are well popular. Since the release of Welcome to the Party in 2013, he has collaborated with many well-known artists in the production of singles including: War featuring Lil Tjay; and 100k on the coupe featuring Calboy. In December 2019 he collaborated on Gatti with JackBoys and Travis Scott which is the last track on album JackBoys (2019) album produced by Scott along with his Cactus Jack members.
